Contact Us →What does "Sovereign" actually mean?
It means you have physical and mathematical certainty about where your data is. Unlike "Regions" in hyperscalers which are logical constructs, a Sovereign region in Forge is a physically isolated failure domain. Traffic cannot leave without explicit allow-listing.
What can I do with the free Tester tier?
The Tester tier includes 2 IsoCells (1 vCPU, 256MB RAM each), 1GB of encrypted storage, and 24-hour observability retention. It is designed for evaluation and small experiments. No credit card required to start.
Do I pay for stopped machines?
You pay for the storage (Volume) attached to them, but not for the CPU/RAM. We treat compute as ephemeral and storage as persistent. This means you can stop IsoCells when not in use and only pay for storage.
What if I need a service you do not have?
Our core philosophy is to provide primitives, not walled gardens. We support running most open-source software (anything OCI-compliant) on Forge. Need a specific database or service? Deploy it in an IsoCell.
Is egress traffic charged?
Yes. Outbound traffic to the internet is $0.02/GB. Traffic between your services within the same region (over ForgeMesh) is free. This is significantly cheaper than hyperscaler egress fees.
Can I try Pro before I buy?
Yes. The Pro plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to all features including HIPAA BAA. No credit card required to start the trial.
What is included in the HIPAA BAA?
Our BAA covers all Forge infrastructure services including IsoCell compute, ForgeVault storage, ForgeMesh networking, and ForgeObserve monitoring. It is included at no extra cost on Pro and Enterprise plans.
How does billing work?
Base platform fees (Dev $29/mo, Pro $199/mo) are billed monthly. Usage (compute, storage, egress) is metered by the second/GB and billed at the end of each billing cycle. You can set spending alerts and caps.
Can I get a discount for annual commitment?
Yes. Annual commitments receive a 20% discount on base platform fees. Contact sales for custom enterprise agreements with volume discounts on usage.
What is the difference between shared and dedicated CPU?
Shared CPU instances share physical cores with other tenants (similar to AWS t3 instances). Dedicated instances get physical cores pinned exclusively to your IsoCell with hardware-level isolation via Firecracker jailer. Dedicated is available on Pro and Enterprise.
